Noranda Service Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Assistant Service Advisor to join our growing team.
This position would ideally suit an experienced Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, Diagnostic Technician, Senior Technician or mature-age mechanic looking for a lighter, customer-focused role while remaining actively involved in the automotive industry.
Initially, this role will be 3 days per week, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position for the right person as the business continues to grow.
Noranda Service Centre is a family-owned and operated workshop that has proudly serviced the local community for over 20 years.

This is not a purely administrative role. We are seeking someone with strong automotive knowledge who can confidently communicate with customers while also supporting our workshop team when required.
Working alongside our Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
Booking vehicles in for servicing and repairs
Following up leads, enquiries and quotations
Converting marketing leads and online enquiries into workshop bookings
Explaining repair recommendations and maintenance requirements to customers
Building customer trust and confidence through professional communication
Managing online enquiries and customer communications
Assisting with customer concerns, complaints and customer satisfaction follow-up procedures
Responding to customer feedback and online reviews
Assisting with workshop scheduling and workflow management
Maintaining accurate customer records and job information
Working closely with technicians to ensure clear communication between the workshop and customers
Assisting technicians and apprentices when required by providing guidance, technical support and an extra pair of hands during busy periods
Helping achieve workshop sales, booking and customer service goals
The successful applicant will have:
Automotive industry experience (essential)
Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A proven ability to build rapport and earn customer trust
Confidence in recommending repairs and converting enquiries into bookings
Strong sales and relationship-building skills
The ability to understand customer concerns and identify their needs
A positive and professional attitude
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Good computer skills
A willingness to learn and continually improve
This position will have regular rostered days each week; however, flexibility is important.
When our Service Advisor is on leave or unavailable, you may be required to swap your normal days or work additional days to support the team and ensure our customers continue to receive outstanding service.
