Key Responsibilities

• Supervise underground activities, including drill operations (Cabolt exposure beneficial but not essential)

• Oversee and manage a small onsite workshop, including maintenance personnel

• Lead a small team of operators and fitters

• Liaise professionally with the client with strong communication and time management

• Complete daily reporting requirements

• Report and manage incidents in line with statutory obligations

• Run and engage personnel in PSI’s

• Facilitate safety and toolbox meetings

Mandatory Requirements

• BSBWHS411 – Certificate of Attainment

• BSBWHS414 or RIIRIS402E (equivalent) – Certificate of Attainment

• Statutory Supervisor Exam – Passed

• Proven underground mining experience

• Strong safety leadership and WHS knowledge

• Solid maintenance/workshop understanding

• Ability to manage small teams effectively

• Confident communicator who can maintain respectful client relationships

• High attention to detail in reporting and compliance
