About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Quality Control Inspector to oversee quality across pipe spooling, bulk piping, and structural steel fabrication activities.

This role is critical in ensuring all fabricated components meet project specifications, drawings, applicable industry standards, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) prior to release.

You will work closely with project delivery and QA/QC teams while maintaining a strong on-site presence.

About You

Required Experience

• 8–10+ years’ experience in QA/QC, inspection, or quality assurance

• Background in oil & gas, mining, water treatment, process or infrastructure industries

Qualifications & Certifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgy or similar OR relevant trade qualification

• Welding Inspector certification (CSWIP, AWS CWI, AS 2214 or equivalent)

• Strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM, AWS and related standards

Desirable

• Experience with API, AS/NZS, and AS standards (e.g. ASME B31.3, AS 4041, AS/NZS 1554, AS 4100)

• NDT knowledge or certification (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT)

• Familiarity with coating inspections, PMI, and material traceability systems

• ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor certification
