CTS People is assisting Complete Tyre Solutions Pty Ltd in the recruitment of a full-time Management Accountant to support the finance and management reporting functions across the business.
This role is suited to an accounting professional with experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, financial reporting and management accounting. The successful candidate will work closely with management and internal stakeholders to provide accurate financial information, support business planning and assist with operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review and analyse management reports, financial reports and performance data.
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow reports.
Monitor income, expenditure, operating costs and financial performance across the business.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare cost analysis reports to support management decision-making.
Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Maintain and review accounting records, reconciliations and supporting financial information.
Assist with the development and improvement of financial procedures, reporting systems and internal controls.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on business performance.
Liaise with internal departments to collect, verify and analyse financial and operational information.
Assist with compliance reporting and provide financial information to external accountants, auditors or advisers where required.
Support process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
Relevant experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis or a similar finance role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and management accounting practices.
Ability to analyse financial information and prepare clear reports for management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential financial information.
Good communication skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders across the business.
Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting or ERP systems.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
Desirable Experience
Experience in transport, mining services, automotive, tyre, recycling, logistics or a related industry.
Experience supporting multi-site operations.
Experience with cost control, business performance reporting and process improvement.
