Harlsan Pty Ltd manufactures high-quality drilling consumables and industrial components for mining customers in Australia and overseas. We are known for quality workmanship, innovation, continuous improvement.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Trades Assistant to join our Osborne Park production team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the role

This is an entry-level manufacturing role suited to someone who has the right attitude, is willing to learn, and wants to become a valued member of a high-performing production team. Extensive manufacturing experience is not required.

You will support trades and production staff across a range of workshop activities, including:

  • safe material handling and movement of stock/components using a forklift.

  • cutting, deburring, cleaning and basic component preparation.

  • loading and unloading parts, packing, dispatch support and general production support.

  • basic machine support tasks under supervision and as trained.

  • measuring, quality checks and following work instructions.

  • keeping workshop areas clean, safe and organised.

You will work in a structured manufacturing environment where safety, quality, teamwork and reliability matter every day.

What you will bring - essential requirements:

  • current Forklift Licence (LF) preferred but not essential.

  • full working rights in Australia.

  • a genuine commitment to workplace safety and doing things properly.

  • reliability - you show up, communicate well and take pride in your work.

  • a practical mindset, willingness to follow instructions and confidence to ask questions.

  • basic computer confidence, or willingness to learn systems such as data entry, scanning, labels and digital work instructions.

 Helpful, but not essential:

  • some workshop, manufacturing, labouring or warehouse experience.

  • interest in building long-term skills across production and manufacturing.

  • a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

  • LF forklift licence preferred but not essential.
