The opportunity

We are expanding our dynamic team of high performing individuals and seeking a passionate and driven individual to join us in the role of Operational Support Technician.

You'll work alongside nationally recognised subject-matter experts while gaining hands-on experience across diverse, high impact projects in healthcare, mining, infrastructure, and industrial environments.

This role is casual but will consider permanent part-time for the right applicant.

Location: Perth, WA (field-based role across client sites)

What you'll be doing

This role will be ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on field work, working across healthcare and high-risk environments, and delivering high-quality technical services.

Reporting to the Technical & Operations Support Portfolio Manager, you will represent Ecosafe on client sites and play a vital role in maintaining strong client relationships and service outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and executing water quality sampling programs across metro and regional sites.

  • Conduct in-field monitoring (temperature, chlorine levels, conductivity)

  • Input and upload field data into compliance tools and digital platforms

  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot field equipment and mobile services

  • Build and maintain relationships with client site contacts

  • Maintain accurate records and auditable field documentation

  • Identify and escalate water quality issues, hazards, and risks promptly

  • Comply with SWIMS and OHS protocols at all times

About You
We are seeking individuals who hold:

  • Certificate III/IV in Water Operations, Environmental Monitoring, Laboratory Techniques or equivalent (highly desirable)

  • Experience in field-based sampling or water quality monitoring

  • A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a proactive approach

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • High attention to detail

  • A values-based and team orientated mindset

  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel

  • Full working rights in Australia are required
