Electrical Field Service Technician - Power Generation

CEM Alliance are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Service Technician to join one of our key clients in the power generation field within mining, marine and oil & gas industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled electricians offering long term opportunity on a family friendly FIFO roster.
 
 
About the Role

• FIFO 2 / 2 roster Perth to Karratha, or local Karratha / Pilbara based
• 12 hr Paid days
• Remuneration - Hourly rate based on experience
• Servicing and maintenance of diesel generators, including changing oil, oil filters, fuel filters and conduct basic fault finding on electrical systems and transfer switches.
• Autonomous role, driving fully serviced vehicle / trailer to major Pilbara mine site locations
• Supported by Karratha and Perth operation teams
• Site based accommodation and meals provided
• Client facing with strong customer focus
• Temp to Permanent opportunity

 
What you can bring
 

• Experience in fault finding in generators including prime mover, alternator and control system.
• Knowledge / experience servicing various generators, including but not limited to Cummins, MTU, Volvo, CAT.
• Installing, programming and commissioning of genset controllers would be an advantage
• Exp driving 4WD on remote or country roads
• Knowledge of the Pilbara Region particularly for RTIO sites would be an advantage

 
Minimum Requirements

• Current WA drivers Licence
• WA Electrical licence
• LVR/CPR & First aid,
• 4WD experience in remote locations 
• Ability to pass full medicals
