New Multi‑Franchise Dealership | Growth Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and driven Automotive Service Manager to lead the Service Department at our new, expanding multi‑franchise dealership located 15 minutes north of the Perth CBD.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the growth and development of a newly established site, supporting our expansion and helping shape a high‑performing service department from the ground up.
This leadership role is responsible for operational performance, customer satisfaction and the ongoing development of a successful service team. The successful candidate will be commercially astute, people‑focused and experienced in managing a busy workshop environment across multiple brands.
About the Role
Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Service Department, including:
Leading and developing a team of Service Advisors, Technicians and Apprentices
Driving service department profitability, productivity and efficiency
Managing daily workshop operations, job flow and labour utilisation
Ensuring outstanding customer experience and resolution of escalated concerns
Monitoring KPIs including labour sales, CSI, WIP and rework
Maintaining compliance with manufacturer standards, WHS and dealership policies
Working collaboratively with Parts, Sales and Administration departments
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager within a franchised dealership environment, along with strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
You’ll have a solid understanding of dealership KPIs, budgeting and forecasting, and be confident in driving performance outcomes. With excellent communication skills, you’ll be customer-focused and capable of resolving issues in a professional and timely manner. Experience working across multiple brands will be highly regarded.
You’ll also take a hands-on, proactive approach to leadership, backed by strong organisational skills and a sound understanding of WHS and workshop compliance requirements.
