Nilsen is a proudly Australian owned electrical contracting and services company with over 100 years of history delivering electrical, communications, engineering, maintenance and infrastructure services across Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking qualified Electricians to join our Engineering Services Division in Perth.

Our Engineering Services team delivers planned maintenance, reactive breakdown support, minor works and projects across a diverse range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, utilities and critical infrastructure clients throughout Western Australia.

We are looking for motivated electricians who enjoy variety in their work, can adapt to changing priorities and are committed to delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Opportunities are available for:

·       Maintenance Electricians

·       Project Electricians

Working within Engineering Services, you will be involved in a mix of:

·       Planned preventative maintenance

·       Reactive breakdown and fault-finding works

·       Commercial and industrial electrical installations

·       Minor works and project delivery

·       Testing, commissioning and certification

·       Infrastructure upgrades

·       Emergency response works

·       Customer relationship management and technical support

No two days are the same. Our team supports some of WA's most recognised commercial, healthcare, industrial and critical infrastructure facilities.

About You

·        WA A Grade Electrical Licence

·        Current WA C-class Driver's Licence

·        Construction White Card

·        Clean National Police Clearance (within 6 months)

·        Strong commitment to safety

·        Professional communication and customer service skills

·        Ability to work independently and within a team environment

·        Flexible and adaptable approach to work

·        Strong fault finding and problem solving skills

·        A positive attitude and willingness to learn

·        Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screening

Desirable but not essential:

·        Commercial maintenance experience

·        Industrial experience

·        Testing and commissioning experience

·        Communications cabling experience

·        EWP Licence

·        High Voltage experience

·        Healthcare or critical infrastructure experience

Working With Engineering Services

Our customers operate around the clock, and so do we.

The successful applicants must be flexible and willing to participate in a rotational afterhours call out roster. Engineering Services operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing critical support to customers across Western Australia.

The ability to respond to changing customer requirements, breakdowns and project demands is essential to success in this role.
