APG Plus is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Task & responsibilities

Interpret electrical drawing, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to plan electrical installations and maintenance activities
Plan and mark out electrical installations reference points to ensure accurate setup
Install, connect, and terminate electrical wiring, cables, and components to switches, outlets, and control systems
Test electrical circuits using diagnostic and measuring instruments to ensure safety and functionality
Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults, including wiring defects and component failures
Install and commission electrical switchboards, distribution systems, and control systems
Connect electrical systems to mains power supply in accordance with safety standards
Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functionality testing of electrical circuits
Install, test, and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and associated electrical infrastructure
Carry out routine maintenance and corrective repairs to ensure system reliability and minimise operational downtime

Qualification & experience

Relevant trade qualification
Proven minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician
Current WA Electrical Worker Licence (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and workplace health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills
