The Role:

TMS are seeking an experienced Lead Draftsman with Advance Steel knowledge to join our team in Malaga on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about driving drafting excellence and leading a small team. Must have experience in Structural, Mechanical & Piping Fabrication Drawings.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Oversee drafting and detailing activities across multiple projects.

• Preparing design and shop detailed work with Advanced Steel.

• Working independently and as part of a team; as well as directly with a fabrication workshop & client.

• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.

• Work hours are above standard required for Full-Time and are paid hours.

 

What we are looking for:

• Proven drafting experience (fabrication / engineering background preferred).

• Experienced Advanced Steel user, with sound knowledge in Management Tools and Drawing Styles & Processes.

• Strong work ethic & ability to work unsupervised.

• High attention to detail, accuracy & confidentiality.

• Analytical, critical thinking & problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to liaise with clients and suppliers in a professional manner.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a medium to large sized fabrication company.

• Trade background preferred but not essential.

• Hold a current Drivers Licence.

• Must hold relevant tickets - Working at Heights, Confined space, White Card  for site clearance   

• Current National Police check

• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screen.
