West Coast Shade is a leading Company in the Shade Structure Industry of WA, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of shade structures and sails.

We offer varied work all across WA, meaning two days are hardly ever the same!


We are looking to employ skilled tradesmen and construction professionals with the following attributes:

  • Be a good team player

  • Be responsible, honest, neat and tidy

  • Must be competent and have experience using power tools

  • Ability to carry out basic tasks un-supervised

  • Current White Card

  • Must be competent & confident using ladders and working at heights (High Risk License is desirable)

  • Be physically fit due to the nature of the work

  • Willing & able to work long hours in peak times.

  • Have a responsible attitude towards D&A and workplace safety

  • Current, valid manual driver's license (LR License or above is desirable)


You will be responsible for:

  • Setting out and planning works

  • Excavation and concreting of footings

  • Installation of steel columns, steel fixings and brackets

  • Use of power tools & hand tools with skill

  • Measuring of shade sails and structures

  • Installation of shade sails (Ladders or EWP's)

  • General Tradesman-like level of workmanship and finishing

  • Troubleshooting of challenges with Supervisor and/or General Manager

  • Professional presentation


Applicant must have reliable transport to travel to our factory in Bibra Lake. 

Tools and Work vehicle for daily tasks will be supplied by us.

On the job training and support will be provided.
