Job description:

Summary

As we grow our presence in Australia, we're looking for a Field Service Technician to join our expanding team in Perth. You'll be the face of STERIS in Western Australia, installing, maintaining, and repairing cutting edge Endoscopy, Operating Theatre, and Infection Control equipment. Your work will directly support hospitals and clinics in delivering safe, high quality care.

What You Will Do

* Install, maintain, and repair STERIS medical equipment.
* Deliver exceptional customer support onsite, by phone, and via email.
* Diagnose faults and perform urgent repairs (including after-hours on-call rotation).
* Provide user training and technical guidance.
* Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory.
* Identify and recommend training needs and process improvements.


The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:
* Trade/Technical Certificate or Diploma with hands-on technical service experience.
* Restricted Electrical License.
* Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
* Valid driver's license and own vehicle (car allowance provided).
* Willingness to travel across WA and work flexible hours.
* Self-motivated with strong decision making skills.


Preferred:
* Previous field service experience.
* Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Customer focused mindset and strong communication skills.
