Ultratune Belmont is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor/2IC to join our award-winning team on a full-time basis, keeping our workshop running smoothly, delivering an exceptional customer experience from first greeting to final handover, and being a key voice between our customers and our technicians.
Qualified mechanics, or unqualified yet experienced and knowledgeable Service Advisors, are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants from local competing franchises are welcome to come on board!
Duties & tasks:
Warmly greet customers, understand their vehicle needs, and provide professional advice that translates technical work into clear, accessible language
Book in vehicles for scheduled maintenance and repairs, and liaise with technicians to ensure efficient, timely completion of work
Source quality parts through established suppliers, provide accurate quotes, and keep customers informed throughout the service process
Promote and sell additional services, repairs, and products in a professional and customer-focused manner
Handle customer queries and concerns with diplomacy and professionalism
Ensure all workshop documentation is accurate and up to date
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Skills & experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive role
Automotive or mechanical trade qualifications (unqualified but experienced and knowledgeable candidates are still highly encouraged to apply)
Good computer skills and familiarity with Repco Navigator, Veales Parts, Cool Drive, and Napa are highly desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a particular ability to translate mechanical concepts to everyday customers
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Keen problem-solving ability and a fix-it-right-first-time attitude
A sales background is a distinct advantage, given the overlap in skillset
Full and current Australian working rights, current local residence
