The Opportunity
We’re seeking experienced and professional Security Officers in Rockingham, Fremantle & Armadale to join our team in a casual role supporting WA hospitals with responsive, short-term and ongoing assignments.
As an ERS Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within hospital facilities, with a strong focus on standby duties involving mental health patients. The role requires close collaboration with clinical staff to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients, staff, and visitors, while providing appropriate support to individuals experiencing mental health distress or behavioural challenges.
Duties may include 1:1 and 2:1 patient Specialised Individual Treatment Support (SITS), Access Control Point roles. Security Officers in this position must demonstrate professionalism, patience, discretion, and a calm, supportive presence at all times, while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and contractual requirements.
