Trade Assistant - Carpentry

About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our team at Constructive PD. This full-time role will see you working alongside our skilled tradespeople, providing essential support to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting tradespeople with a variety of tasks, such as material handling, tool preparation, and general site clean-up

• Performing general labouring duties, including digging, drilling, and demolition work

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment by following all health and safety protocols

• Working collaboratively with the construction team to ensure project milestones are met

• Undertaking any other duties as required to support the success of the project

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or Labourer, in the construction industry

• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment, and a keen interest in the trades

• Access to your own tool kit

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to work sites

• HRWL – WP and Working at Heights   – not essential but are favourable

• Construction White Card – essential
