Production Electrical Assembler (Wiring Harnesses)

About us

AutoWire is a Wangara based business leading the supply and manufacture of automotive wire harnesses, heavy equipment wiring harnesses, electrical panels, components and solutions to a national customer base.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our close-knit team that is either, currently experienced in the manufacture of simple and complex automotive type wiring systems or is looking to expand their skills into harness manufacturing.

Tasks include:

• Read and interpret wiring schematics and Form Board 2D harness designs.

• Use of specialised hand tools.

• Use of specialised machine crimping equipment.

• Use and setup of wire processing machinery.

• Use and setup of harness braiding machines.

• Verification and testing.

• Assembly of cables and wires.

• Assembly of connectors.

About You

• Electrical assembly experience is very desirable but not essential (training would be provided).

• Fast learner.

• Attention to the finer details.

• An interest in electrical harnesses and automotive electrical systems.

• Ability to work as a team member.

• Following and listening to instructions.

• Willing to learn new skill sets.

• Must have Permanent Residency.

• Must have own transport and valid driver's license.
