Trade Assistant Yard person

Zitron Australia Pty Ltd is a fast growing, ventilation fan manufacturing company, suppling industrial fan units to the mining and road tunnel sector, based in the southern suburbs of Perth. 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Yard person / Trade Assistant, to join the fast-growing Australian arm of an international group that is a global leader in the field of ventilation for underground mines, road and railway tunnels, and metro systems.

Job Requirements and Description:

• Have a Forklift licence 

• Well experienced in Forklift with handling Metal Components  

• Experience in using tools including Reciprocating saw, Strap tensioner, Impact Wrenches etc.

• Responsible for doing the forklift check regularly and report any damages/ repairs to Supervisor.

• Clearing the yard and Workshop bins regularly.

• Loading and Unloading Trucks/ Containers.

• Assisting Store Persons and work with them.

• Counting / Verifying items

• Experience in using Over head Gantry Cranes

• Be able to follow instructions

• Work in a team and independently

• Work to standards

• Be flexible and versatile in many small jobs

• Knowledge of hand and power tools

• Be available to work overtime if necessary
