About the role
As a Casual Park Officer, you will support the Team Leader to ensure the park, campground and facilities are clean, safe and operating efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
deliver high-quality customer service to park visitors
maintain park, campground and amenities to a high standard
support safe operations, including monitoring patrons and enforcing park policies
operate and maintain equipment and facilities (including canoe shed and grounds equipment)
assist with cash handling and basic record keeping
contribute to a safe workplace.
About you
strong communication and interpersonal skills
customer-focused with the ability to manage conflict appropriately
good decision-making skills and a proactive approach
experience in parks maintenance or similar outdoor environments (desirable)
experience operating tools/equipment (e.g. mowers, brush cutters; chainsaw desirable)
knowledge of WHS practices.
Requirements
current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence
current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation
ability to work weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.
An hourly rate of $44.20 (adult rate) will be offered (rates differ for junior casuals) as well as a range of benefits including:
generous superannuation benefits (up to 17%)

free parking.
