About the Role

We are seeking First Class Machinists experienced in operating manual lathes, CNC lathes, and machining centres. You’ll be joining a high-performing team delivering specialised components for mission-critical industries.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Okuma or equivalent)
Interpret technical drawings and select appropriate materials and tooling
Assemble metal components with a focus on accuracy and service excellence
Operate and maintain manual machining equipment
Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards

Skills & Experience

Trade qualification in Metal Machining or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' experience post-trade in machining
Experience operating Okuma lathes or machining centres, including One-Touch programming
Forklift (LF Class) licence preferred
Australian Driver’s Licence preferred
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Full work rights in Australia (Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate)
