As a Crane Technician at Sarens Australia (Perth) you’ll keep our fleet performing at its best. You work hands‑on with electrical and hydraulic systems, diagnose technical challenges and carry out maintenance that keeps complex lifting operations safe, reliable and compliant. Your job in a nutshell:

  • Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics accurately
  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing on all crane types
  • Ensure all work meets Sarens safety, quality and compliance standards
  • Document maintenance activities clearly and report findings
  • Report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with technicians and operations teams

ABOUT YOU

You’re a hands‑on crane technician who values precision, ownership and safe work. You work confidently with autonomy, while staying connected to your team. You take pride in your craft and understand that safety is the foundation of every lift.

What you bring:

  • Legal authorisation to work in Australia
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence
  • Proven experience in electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate technical documentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel across Australia as required
  • Preferred: experience with engine diagnostics and repairs
