We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Aftercare Manager to lead our aftermarket sales operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the vehicle ownership journey.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with strong sales, relationship-building and leadership skills to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence within a successful automotive dealership.

About the Role

As the Aftercare Manager, you will be responsible for the promotion and sale of aftermarket products and services to customers purchasing vehicles. You will work closely with the Sales Team, customers, and dealership leadership to maximise aftermarket opportunities while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales
  • Present and sell aftermarket products and services to customers purchasing vehicles.

  • Maintain expert knowledge of dealership products, manufacturer offerings and vehicle features.

  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that provide genuine value.

  • Handle customer enquiries and provide exceptional service throughout the purchasing process.

  • Conduct product demonstrations where required.

  • Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Manage customer concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring positive outcomes.

  • Assist with vehicle delivery preparation to ensure all aftermarket products and accessories are correctly fitted and included.

Leadership & Business Performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental sales and profitability targets.

  • Set, monitor and review monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives.

  • Maintain accurate daily activity reporting and departmental records.

  • Attend and contribute to regular management and performance review meetings.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and eliminate waste.

  • Work closely with Vehicle Sales Managers to support training and development initiatives.

Customer Satisfaction
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and exceed manufacturer expectations.

  • Regularly engage with key customers to strengthen relationships and identify future opportunities.

  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements where required.

  • Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Marketing & Business Development
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and sales promotions.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity and provide recommendations to management.

  • Support the development of annual marketing plans and budgets.

  • Provide sales teams with relevant product information and business development opportunities.

Teamwork & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong working relationships across all dealership departments.

  • Liaise professionally with manufacturers and external stakeholders.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and act as an ambassador for the dealership.

  • Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained at all times.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an automotive, sales, customer service or aftermarket-focused role.

  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and build lasting customer relationships.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional customer service focus.

  • Ability to identify customer needs and present appropriate solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly motivated, self-driven and results-focused.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a disciplined and process-driven approach.

  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
