The Building and Maintenance Manager manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations and provides general maintenance of a high-end residential apartment complex within the Perth CBD area.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide assistance to the buildings Facility Manager to oversee the facilities management system and ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests.
- Assist with management of all service contracts
- Complete regular building inspection reports
- Conduct contractor inductions and ensure all work carried out onsite is in accordance with OH&S Regulations
- Be on standby to attend to any emergency repairs or programmed maintenance works required after normal hours
- Experience of 2 years or more in a similar role
- Technical background in a trade
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- A proactive mindset with a customer-first approach
