Due to continued growth, we have a rare opportunity for a skilled Plant Equipment / Forklift Mechanic to join our team based in Welshpool WA, working within our workshop operations.
  
About the Role:
  • This position will focus on repairs, diagnostics and quoting, ensuring machinery is workshop-ready and delivered to a high standard.
  • You will work closely with the Sales Representative and Yard Coordinators to ensure equipment is prepared efficiently and delivered on time.
  • This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday | 7:00am–3:06pm (38-hour week).
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Diagnosing and repairing plant and forklift equipment
  • Completing mechanical inspections and condition reports
  • Preparing repair quotes and recommending required works
  • Performing servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Working collaboratively with sales and yard teams
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

About You:
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Experience servicing plant equipment, forklifts or automotive vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience preparing repair quotes (highly regarded)
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
  • Full working rights in Australia
