About the Role:

As a Laundry Assistant, you will ensure laundry and linen services are of a high standard and quality for our residents. You must have the ability to safely engage in manual labour tasks and heavy lifting when required.

Responsibilities include:

Collecting, washing, folding, ironing, labelling, and returning resident's personal clothing on a daily basis.
Maintaining a high standard of personal and operational hygiene at all times.
Identifying and reporting any equipment/operational failure issues.
Ensuring all activities performed are in accordance with infection control and WHS requirements.

Key Role Requirements:

Ability to move and lift heavy loads, conduct physical/hands-on work and repetitive movements of the body.
Demonstrated knowledge of fire and safety processes and manual handling guidelines.
Ability to operate in a team environment.
Permanent working rights in Australia.
National Police Clearance.
