We are looking for a Heavy Haulage Fleet Supervisor to join the MGM team. This role presents a unique opportunity to assist in leading and supervising our heavy haulage operators and transport fleet.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Fleet Supervisor to join our South West team on a rotating 4/3/4 roster based at our depot in Picton. To be successful you must be passionate about making tonnage requirements and deadlines whilst demonstrating a strong focus on safety and employee leadership. 

We are looking for a dynamic individual that has worked within a similar role for a minimum of 3-5 years that wants to develop their career further with a business that will only grow from strength to strength. 

What skills are needed for the role?

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written 

  • Experience using MS Office Suite for document creation and maintenance

  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships throughout all levels of the business

  • Own a positive and respectful leadership style that encourages, supports and leads by example.

  • Ability to lead a team to achieve goals and KPIs

  • Understanding of cost imperatives relating to the effective scheduling of a fleet 

  • Sound understanding of laws and regulations relating to the operation of heavy vehicles, transportation, driver fatigue and vehicle weights is desirable
