About the Role

ChoiceOne are currently seeking an experienced Stores Person – Tool Store to join a well-established engineering and hydraulic solutions company based in North Coogee. This is a Monday to Friday role with excellent hourly rates and long-term potential, starting as a temporary assignment with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a workshop environment managing tools, equipment and inventory, supporting workshop teams and ensuring assets are maintained, tracked and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tools and assets within the workshop tool store
  • Sign tools in and out and allocate equipment to specific jobs
  • Maintain accurate records of tool locations and condition
  • Organise test tagging, calibration and maintenance of workshop tools
  • Procure tooling and materials required for workshop operations
  • Prepare tools and equipment for project mobilisation
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised tool store
  • Liaise with suppliers for repair, replacement and procurement of equipment
  • Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and documentation requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a tool store, warehouse or workshop stores role
  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment and workshop consumables
  • Very good computer skills with experience maintaining inventory records
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Ability to liaise with workshop teams and suppliers
  • Strong commitment to safety and workplace procedures

Tickets & Requirements

Essential
  • Forklift Licence
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Strong computer skills
  • Be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical & DAS
Highly Desirable
  • Experience using the "Infor Ln" ERP system
  • Rigging inspection/tagging experience
  • Electrical test & tagging certification
