Salon Coordinator (Front of House) – Trigg Hair Studio

We’re expanding our team and looking for a Salon Coordinator to help keep our busy salon running smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our clients.


This role is the heartbeat of the salon - welcoming clients, supporting the team, and ensuring every guest feels looked after from the moment they arrive.


While this role could suit a hairdresser looking for a different pace, you do not need to be a hairdresser to apply. Full training will be provided for the right person.

About the Role

As our Salon Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the daily flow of the salon. This is a client-facing position where professionalism, organisation and attention to detail are essential.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Welcoming and looking after clients from the moment they arrive

  • Managing bookings, phones, texts and emails

  • Supporting the team during busy periods

  • Basin work including shampooing and treatments (training provided)

  • Preparing refreshments to enhance the client experience

  • Maintaining salon cleanliness and presentation

  • Helping keep the day organised and running smoothly behind the scenes

  • Supporting the team to achieve service and rebooking targets


About You


You do not need to be a qualified hairdresser for this role.

However, you will be someone who:


  • Loves working with people and creating great client experiences

  • Is organised and enjoys keeping things running smoothly

  • Stays calm and capable in a busy environment

  • Takes pride in professionalism and presentation

  • Is reliable and shows strong initiative

  • Is open to learning new skills and being part of a supportive team


This role suits someone who enjoys the energy of a salon environment and takes genuine pride in making clients feel welcome and looked after.


Hours of Work


This is a part-time role averaging approximately 33–34 hours per week with consistent, structured hours.

The salon is closed Sunday and Monday.


Weekly roster

Tuesday – 9:45am to 5:00pm

Wednesday – 11:00am to 7:00pm

Thursday – 2:00pm to 9:00pm

Friday – 10:00am to 4:00pm


Saturday rotation (4-week roster)

Week 1 – 7:45am to 4:00pm

Week 2 – OFF

Week 3 – 9:00am to 3:00pm

Week 4 – 7:45am to 4:00pm


This role includes late nights and Saturdays as part of the regular roster.


Pay


Pay will depend on experience.


Applicants with previous salon experience or hairdressing qualifications may be offered above award. Those new to the industry will be employed under the relevant award.


There are also bonus opportunities when salon targets are achieved.
