Workshop Caravan Assembler Full Time

2026 is the year with a new job at Southern Cross Caravans.

We need more people out the back in our factory to help in all areas from start to finish.

We are are a great team to work with and reward our employees with above award rates, regular pay increases but most of all, we look after our staff. We are expanding again and need a bigger team willing to put in the effort.

Qualifications & experience

· Understanding of general mechanics and willing to learn

· Australian work rights are required for this position

Extra points for 12V experience also.

Tasks & responsibilities

Everyone learns the basics so they can do all tasks we need to finish our quality caravans

· Minimum age requirement of 18+ years due to workshop safety

· Starting with helping to empty our regular sea containers

· Fitting on bearings and wheel alignment

· Fitting of wheels and accessories

· sealing and leak checking of caravan.

· fitting of suspension arms and awning to caravans

· Cleaning and detailing ready to hand over

Benefits

· Normal work hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday

· Starting with $25 Per hour for the first 3 months probation then with experience you will be on $34 PH after 3 months.

· Super and Holiday pay will be additional to that.
