About the role

Team Global Express is seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for our workshop at Perth Airport.

• Permanent Full-Time opportunity

• Roster: 7 day shifts, 7 night shifts, followed by 7 days off.

• $69.6184 per hour plus Superannuation

• Working hours: 06:00-18:00 (day shift) / 18:00-06:00 (night shift)

• 15% Superannuation

• Competitive Hourly Rate

• Complete general servicing tasks on Heavy Vehicles. The types of vehicles the team services include Mercedes Benz, Kenworth, Volvo, Isuzu, Fuso, Hino and Freightliner.

• Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical, air conditioning and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards

• Supportive and collaborative management to ensure you are supported at all times

• Work at a Modern workshop with top of the line diagnostic equipment

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)

• Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment

• Previous diagnostic investigation experience

• Be able to maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures

• Be able to maintain quality and urgency in your work
