Marine Parts Adviser

We have an exciting long-term employment opportunity for a Spare Parts adviser to join our team. This role will suit a candidate that thrives in working in a diverse, friendly and dedicated team environment.

This role involves front of house sales of Yamaha outboard parts and chandlery with daily tasks. Training will be offered to the correct applicant.

Mandurah Boat Shop is a family owned and operated Marine and Boating Business, located in coastal Mandurah. We proudly sell and service a range of Yamaha Outboards along with Australia’s favourite Stacer & Stabicraft boats.

Responsibilities:

• Build and develop customer relationships through the provision of excellent customer service, ensuring customer needs are being met or exceeded

• Works closely with the workshop to ensure parts availability and process compliance

• Monitor stock, spare parts and inventory, organising stock takes as required

• A proactive approach to resolving customer issues quickly and professionally

• Yamaha outboard parts

• Chandlery sales

• Merchandising

Essential Criteria:

• Strong parts interpreting skills

• Great at building relationships and understanding customer needs

• Confident working independently while staying proactive

• Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal

• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems

• Works well in a team and enjoys collaboration

• Self- Motivated

• Team Player

• Driver’s License (manual)

• Previous experience in the marine, automotive, motorcycle or similar industry - preferred but not essential

This is a full time position working a 38-hour week with overtime as required.
