The Opportunity



Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability and production efficiency. Working in a rotating day/night roster (7-day fortnight rotation), you'll be responsible for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives in our state-of-the-art facility located in Harvey, WA.



This is a hands-on role suited for a trade-qualified fitter with strong mechanical fitting experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct machinery inspections, adjustments, and repairs

  • Troubleshoot process and equipment failures to determine root causes

  • Drive preventative & ongoing maintenance programs

  • Support Engineering & Production teams in continuous improvements

  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend process enhancements

  • Supervise TA's and contract staff, ensuring compliance with standards

  • Manufacture, repair, and fault-find hydraulic & pneumatic equipment



What We're Looking For:

  • Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter) - Essential

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (highly regarded)

  • Exposure to FMCG, food processing, or red meat industry (preferred)

  • Experience with vacuum packaging equipment (advantageous)

  • Strong knowledge of OHS compliance & confined space requirements

  • Ability to fabricate & weld (advantageous)
