Maintenance Manager – Regents Garden Booragoon

Regents Garden Group is a dynamic and innovative aged care organisation, renowned for our award-winning facilities. With five well-established sites across Joondalup, Scarborough, Booragoon, Bateman, and Aubin Grove, we pride ourselves on creating beautiful environments where residents feel truly at home.

We are now looking for a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our friendly team at Regents Garden Booragoon. This position is a temporary full-time position for 6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely for our residents and staff.

About the Role

In this role, no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for keeping our facility well-maintained and welcoming by:

• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations

• Maintaining buildings, plumbing, roofs, and equipment (beds, chairs, hoists, mobility aids)

• Performing small repairs such as painting, window/door rollers, curtain tracks, and light bulb replacements

• Looking after A/C filters, call bell testing, gardening, and reticulation

• Helping to care for unique features like our fishponds and outdoor areas

• Supporting staff with safe chemical handling and training

• Delegating tasks to the maintenance cleaning team where needed

• Playing an active role in our continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work. Ideally, you will bring:

• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and repairs

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)

• A current Trade Licence

• National Police Clearance / NDIS Worker Screening

• Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations
