Spray Painter - FIFO

Our Spray Painters are primarily responsible for responsible for spray painting and sand blasting trailers and other equipment in a timely, safe and high-quality manner.

This position is/includes:

• Full-time permanent role.
• Fortnightly Tool Allowance.
• Free parking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sand blasting to specification.
• Must be able to follow paint specifications and documentation.
• Examining surfaces to be treated.
• Preparing and mixing paints and any other substances to be applied.
• Checking the finished item.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and monitor quality control.
• Spray paint and sand blast road transport equipment.
• Preparing surfaces for paint application.
• Mix and colour match paints to meet the requirements of the job.
• Brush touch, paint/blend any defective areas of coated items.
• Clean work areas and spray equipment.
• To ensure all work is carried out to company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to workplace safety requirements and always use PPE correctly.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience with painting or blasting.
• Passion to learn painting and blasting activities.
• Knowledge of using hand tools safely.
• Hold a current LF (forklift) license or willing and able to obtain one.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
• Provide a valid National Police clearance (not issued longer than 6 months ago).
