Truck Driver General Hand

ParaQuad Industries is the disability employment division of Alinea Inc., a registered charity, recognised public benevolent institution and registered NDIS provider. We currently employ approximately 120 Western Australians living with a disability.

We have a vacancy for a Truck Driver / General Hand based at our Shenton Park facility. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pick-ups and deliveries of a wide range of loads including loading and unloading and manual handling. 

Specific duties will include:

• Driving of various company vehicles up to Light Rigid (LR);

• Collection and delivery of various goods to and from nominated points within the Perth metropolitan area;

• Loading and unloading of vehicles including some manual handling;

• Use of mechanical lifting aids including forklift, pallet jacks, tail lifts and trollies;

• Direction and support of Offsiders with disabilities;

• Carrying out of regular prescribed vehicle checks;

• General Hand tasks as required including movement of furniture and emptying of charity bins;

• Operation of machinery including cardboard press and bale press;

• Maintenance of vehicles in clean and safe condition.

A current NDIS Worker Screening check is required
