About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Crusher Fitter to join our team on our joint venture OHP4, Mining AreaC project site, in conjunction with CSI Mining Services.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for contributing to the maintenance, inspection, and repair of the crushing circuit, along with the operation and upkeep of mobile equipment. Your expertise will be key to ensuring smooth, efficient operations and contributing to the ongoing success of the project.

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform routine maintenance, shutdown and breakdown maintenance, inspections and repairs on the crushing circuit

  • Operate and maintain mobile equipment as directed by the Site Manager

  • Record plant operating conditions and other relevant information on daily inspection sheets

  • Work closely with the Site Manager, Production Supervisor, and other team members to meet project needs

  • Participate in hazard identification, assessment and control, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a mechanical fitting role, particularly in fixed plant mining or crushing plant operations

  • Strong understanding of fixed plant and equipment maintenance

  • A commitment to safety and high operational standards

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team

Essential experience & qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 months demonstrated previous experience performing maintenance duties within a crushing plant or similar fixed plant environment.

  • Current manual C class or above drivers’ licence

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screen

  • Hold, or willing to obtain a national police clearance less than 12 months old

  • Ability to complete online inductions

  • Full Australian work rights

  • CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (Construction “white card”)

  • CPPFES2005 – Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment

  • RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights

  • RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces

  • HLTAID011 – Provide first aid

  • MSMWHS217 – Gas test atmospheres

  • RIIIHAN301E – Operate Elevating Work Platform

Desirable qualifications:

  • Current MRL/CSI and/or BHP induction status

  • 4WD/Defensive Driving (such as RIIVEH305F: Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle, RIIVEH201E: Operate a Light Vehicle)

  • TLIC1051 – Operate commercial vehicle

Please note - This role requires certain physical demands and exposure to challenging environments and will include working at heights, frequent climbing of stairs, walking on uneven surfaces within the crushing plant. These demands may also involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and other exertions associated with manual roles.
