We're looking for an experienced Working Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our team on a short-term project constructing a workshop at an active goldmine site in Western Australia's Mid-West.

This role offers top rates, an immediate start, and the potential for ongoing work on future projects for the right person.

The Details

  • Roster: 2:1 FIFO from Perth, working back-to-back with current supervisor (one-week overlap for handover)

  • Contract: Short-term, 3–4 swings

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Pay: Highly competitive rates

  • Location: Goldmine site, Mid-West WA

Your Role

As the on-site Working Supervisor, you'll coordinate and lead subcontractor crews across multiple trades to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of construction works.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day work of subcontractor crews (concrete, rigging, roofing, electrical)

  • Managing OHS compliance – JHAs, Take 5s, and safe work practices

  • Liaising with the client's OHS and project teams to maintain site standards

  • Supporting weekly planning and scheduling with site-based PMs and engineers

  • Monitoring quality control and project deliverables (ITPs, QA checks)

  • Loading & unloading freight

  • Involvement in crane lifts & movement of materials around site.

  • Problem solving & making decisions so work can progress without delays

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience supervising similar construction or mine-site projects

  • No visa restrictions and a current WA driver's licence

  • Current National Police Clearance (must be free of assault or theft offences)

  • S26 Supervisor qualification (as per current legislation)

  • Franna & Dogging Tickets

  • HR Driver's Licence

  • Telehandler Ticket

  • All operator tickets, including Franna, Dogging, HR Licence and Telehandler, must be current and valid prior to commencement

Desirable (Highly Regarded)

  • Riggers, Skid Steer, or Excavator Tickets

  • Stick welding skills (all positions)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude – capable of identifying and resolving plant issues
