2XM Recruit are seeking experienced Pump Fitters for a stable, workshop-based positions in the Perth area. This is steady, local work with a reputable employers in the Servicing/manufacturing sectors.

About the Role:

Ongoing roles: (temp-to-perm and permanent from day one for certain roles)
workshop hours (day shift, with potential overtime)
Hands-on servicing, repair, overhaul, and rebuild of industrial pumps (dewatering, slurry, centrifugal, submersible, bore pumps, etc.)
Workshop environment — clean, modern facility with all tools provided
Immediate start for the right candidates

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience working on pumps (essential — stripping, rebuilding, seal changes, impeller work, alignments, diagnostics)
Trade qualification: Cert III Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
Strong safety focus and ability to read technical drawings/specs
Reliable, team-oriented, with good attention to detail
Any relevant tickets (White Card, Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights, etc.) are a plus
Full working rights in Australia (NZ/AUS Citizen, perm resident or unrestricted working Visa)
Bonus skills/experience that will stand out:

Hydraulic systems
Valve fitting/repair
Pipework and fabrication
Compressor or rotating equipment
Laser alignment tools
Basic machining or workshop diagnostics
