AMEK Engineering is a national building services provider delivering exceptional HVAC&R, Electrical, Fire, Engineering, Automation & Controls, Life Safety and Advisory Services nation-wide.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Western Australia team on a full-time basis. Based in Belmont, we are looking for candidates from both North and South of the river to support our expanding operations.

THE ROLE
Based in the Perth Metro area (and beyond), you will be the face of AMEK Engineering on-site. Your day-to-day will involve:
Preventative and scheduled maintenance and servicing on major mechanical plants
Diagnostic fault-finding and breakdown repairs.
Installation and commissioning of HVAC&R equipment
Logging service reports into a job management app on a daily basis
Collaborating with our highly skilled team of technicians and office support
ABOUT YOU
Experienced in servicing major mechanical plant and equipment.
Technical knowledge and understanding of Chillers and large central plant (ideal)
Honest and Reliable
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
OHS&E knowledge and understanding.
Diagnosis and fault-finding skills.
Be willing to travel inter/intra state when required
Be available for planned and unplanned overtime
Take part in an After-Hours On-Call Roster
QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSING
Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
Refrigerant Handling License
Restricted Electrical License (Or higher)
Current WA Manual Drivers' license (Preferred)
Construction White Card & Working at Heights (Current).
Ability to obtain a Working with Children check
