Residential Designer

The Prime Group is a well-established company who offer personal solutions in residential home building and project development. Due to exponential growth, we are seeking a Residential Designer to join our thriving Design team.

About the Role

As a Designer, you will be assisting our Sales Department by producing new sales sketches in accordance with client briefs and relevant authority guidelines. The role will require you to use your creative and innovative design skills to solve problems and meet the expectations of our clients, on time and on budget. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth as a Designer where you will work alongside like-minded people who share a passion for Residential Design in a fun and supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Production of new sales sketches using the latest version of ArchiCAD

• Providing helpful design advice and information to sales consultants

• Producing hand drawn concepts upon request

• Contributing to the design process for new standard product and display homes

• Liaising with local government authorities and developers

To be successful in this role you will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Certificate IV in Building and Construction and/or Diploma of Building and Construction (essential)

• Minimum 3 years Perth based experience in a residential design or drafting role

• Have a creative flair and passion for residential design

• High level ArchiCAD skills (essential)

• High level of construction knowledge

• High understanding of relevant industry codes and regulations (R-Codes, NCC)
