Operations Assistant (School Hours)

Refresh Drinks Co is a Western Australian beverage manufacturer producing fresh juices and functional beverages for cafés, restaurants, retailers, and distributors across WA.

We are looking for a reliable and organised team member to join our team in a hybrid role combining hands-on production work with administrative support.

This position is ideal for someone looking to return to the workforce while maintaining school-friendly hours.

The Role

This is not a desk-based position.

While there is an administrative component, the majority of your time will be spent on the production floor supporting manufacturing operations.

Approximately 80% of the role involves production duties, including manufacturing, packing, cleaning, quality control, stock management, and general operational support. The remaining 20% may involve administration, data entry, purchasing, scheduling, customer service, and assisting the business owner with day-to-day tasks.

The role will evolve based on your skills, experience, and interests.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, switching between practical hands-on work and administrative tasks, and taking ownership of getting things done.

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, organised, and proactive

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, administration, customer service, sales, logistics, marketing, bookkeeping, or operations will be highly regarded

Physical Requirements

This is an active role within a food manufacturing environment. Applicants should be comfortable:

  • Standing and moving for most of the shift

  • Repeatedly lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15kg

  • Performing repetitive tasks throughout the day

  • Working safely in a fast-paced production environment

Important Information

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm

  • 30 hours per week

  • School holiday availability is required as production continues throughout the year

  • We understand family commitments and will make reasonable accommodations where possible; however, production targets and daily responsibilities must still be completed

To Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining:

  • Your previous experience in manufacturing, administration, sales, marketing, customer service or related roles

  • Why this role interests you

  • Any experience in food production or operational environments

  • The skills you could bring to both the production and administrative aspects of the role

  • Your availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm
