If the thought of a new target gets you more excited than another meeting, this role might be for you.

We're looking for an Exploration Geologist with 3-5 years' experience to join Dreadnought Resources and help drive the next phase of discovery across our projects in the Gascoyne and Yilgarn.

You'll be involved in everything from target generation and drill planning through to discovery drilling and resource definition. As part of a small, close-knit team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership and see your work directly influence outcomes.

About Dreadnought Resources

Dreadnought Resources is a Western Australian explorer focused on gold, critical minerals and base metals.

With projects across the Gascoyne, Yilgarn and Kimberley regions, we've built a strong track record of discovery and are continuing to advance an exciting pipeline of opportunities.

We're a lean, hands-on team that values curiosity, teamwork and good ideas. Everyone contributes, everyone rolls up their sleeves and everyone shares in the excitement of what comes next.

The Opportunity

This role offers exposure to every stage of the exploration cycle. From grassroots concepts through to drill-out and resource definition, you'll work across multiple commodities and geological terranes alongside a highly experienced team.

As we advance our "Finding More Gold Faster" strategy at Mangaroon and Illaara, while progressing our critical and base metals projects, you'll gain broad experience and play a genuine role in shaping the next discovery.

Few companies offer the same breadth of commodities, geological settings and stages of exploration. This is an opportunity to join a team doing exciting work at the right time.

What To Expect

Depending on the campaign, you'll be:

  • Working with and supervising drill rigs

  • Logging core and drill chips

  • Sampling and geological mapping

  • Assisting with target generation and interpretation

  • Supporting field logistics and camp operations

  • Collaborating with Native Title groups, pastoralists and contractors

  • Spending time in the office interpreting data and planning the next campaign

  • Working across projects in the Gascoyne and Yilgarn

 What We Offer

  • Campaign-based FIFO roster (currently 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)

  • Office base in Osborne Park, Perth

  • Exposure to gold, rare earths, niobium, nickel, copper and tungsten

  • Mentoring from an experienced technical and operational team

  • Projects spanning multiple geological terranes and stages of exploration

  • Professional development opportunities including conferences and technical courses

  • A supportive, down-to-earth culture where everyone contributes

  • The opportunity to make a real impact and be part of discoveries

 About You

  • You're driven by discovery and keen to broaden your technical and operational experience.

  • You enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable in remote environments and thrive in a team where everyone rolls up their sleeves.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • A Geoscience degree

  • 3-5 years' relevant exploration experience

  • Experience supervising drill rigs

  • A manual C-class driver's licence

  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with a diverse group of people

  • Exposure to Leapfrog, Micromine or similar software (advantageous)

  • Strong QGIS skills (advantageous)

Why Join Dreadnought?

Because discoveries don't happen sitting behind a desk.

If you want to work with a team that values initiative, embraces adventure and is genuinely excited by the next big discovery, we'd love to hear from you.

Join us as we continue our mission of ‘Finding More Gold Faster’.
