Workforce International is currently seeking a motivated and organised Rental Operations Coordinator to join our client’s busy Welshpool branch.

This is a fast-paced and varied operational role where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in coordinating rental operations, supporting customers, managing fleet availability, and ensuring all hire documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time.

This opportunity will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a full-time permanent role after 6 months based on performance and suitability.

Hours: Monday to Friday, working 42.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer enquiries, bookings, and rental coordination via phone and email

  • Preparing vehicles for collection and welcoming customers onsite

  • Explaining vehicle features and hire procedures to customers

  • Completing hire and de-hire documentation accurately and efficiently

  • Maintaining accurate booking, quotation, and customer interaction records

  • Coordinating vehicle preparation and fleet readiness with the Equipment Services team

  • Liaising with the maintenance team regarding servicing schedules and vehicle availability

  • Working with interstate branches to source and relocate equipment when required

  • Assisting with payment follow-up in conjunction with the Accounts Receivable team

  • Contributing to workplace health and safety initiatives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with truck rentals is a must

  • Previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet, or operations coordination

  • Ability to pass a Laboratory Drug and Alcohol screening

  • Heavy vehicle industry knowledge is highly regarded, but not essential

  • HR licence is highly regarded, but not essential
