About the Role
The ECU Survey Research Centre (SRC) is seeking reliable and motivated Casual Market Research Interviewers to join our team. Based at ECU’s Joondalup Campus, the SRC delivers high-quality outbound telephone surveys to support a wide range of research projects.

As an interviewer, you will play a key role in collecting accurate data by engaging with participants over the phone and recording responses efficiently using our CATI survey system.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound telephone surveys in a professional manner
• Follow survey scripts accurately as provided
• Record responses clearly and precisely in electronic systems
• Maintain high standards of data quality and confidentiality
• Meet shift commitments and project deadlines

 
About You

• We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
• Strong communication skills and excellent phone manner
• Good computer skills and fast, accurate typing ability
• High attention to detail when recording data
• Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts
• Ability to strictly follow survey scripts

Desirable 
Previous experience in a call centre or data collection role

Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available for:

• Minimum 3–4 shifts per week (4 preferred)
• Evening shifts (Mon–Fri):  ranging between 2pm-8pm
• One weekend shift: Saturday or Sunday between 10am – 3pm
• Shifts typically run for 3–5 hours (minimum engagement of  3 hours)

You must be available for
Tuesday 23rd June 2026 and week commencing 29th June 2026 (date TBC).

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Police Clearance
• Must have valid working rights in Australia
