About the Opportunity 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to support maintenance operations at the Fremantle Terminal. This role is critical to ensuring effective inventory control, accurate record keeping, and continuity of maintenance activities.

Working closely with the Purchasing and Facilities Officer and Engineering team, the role supports the timely availability of critical parts, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform general warehouse duties including loading and unloading deliveries, picking and preparing orders, and labelling stock

  • Coordinate receival and dispatch of deliveries

  • Maintain accurate records in CMMS/CRM systems

  • Ensure stock is correctly labelled, stored, and maintained

  • Conduct inventory reviews and stock takes

  • Coordinate with procurement to create purchase orders and invoice goods

  • Support maintenance planning and scheduling activities

  • Escort contractors and stakeholders on site in accordance with HSE requirements

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised workshop and storage areas

About your Experience 

To be considered for this opportunity you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors

  • Experience in maintenance administration, inventory, or warehouse operations

  • Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisational, data entry skills

  • Strong eye for detail

  • Understanding of OH&S policies and safe work practices

  • Experience using CMMS or CRM systems is desirable

  • Forklift licence is desirable

  • Must be eligible to obtain an MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card).
