OzShut Roller Shutters is WA's leading Roller Shutter company based right here in Malaga, Perth. OzShut completes all custom made orders locally with a 5 day installation turnaround.

The role of Production Assembly Assistant involves assembling roller shutters and other ad hoc duties in our Malaga Factory.

While it isn't rocket science, we do have some requirements

Applicants should be familiar with the use of power / air tools and or manufacturing equipment and saws. You should also have the ability to measure accurately
Applicants should have an excellent work ethic and pride themselves on the quality of their work.
Applicants should be able to work to a high standard autonomously & still follow safety protocols
Applicants will also be given training and instruction in the setup and pack down of scaffolding
Weekly pay cycle. This position will commence as casual with at least 30+ hours p/week and is based at the Malaga factory. This role may become full time to the right applicant.
Hours of work would vary day to day but when rostered would be 6:30am – 5pm. The finish time would vary depending on the workload but not later than 5pm.
Saturday work is also part of the roster which is a half day in busy times (Overtime rates payable).
Full training will be provided; experience in roller shutters would be well regarded but is not essential. Work experience in similar industries and/or in a factory environment is advantageous.

Applicants MUST possess a CURRENT VALID open Driver's License (Manual) as doing deliveries is essential in our fleet of vehicles. You just possess a certain level of physical fitness for this role and lifting product up to 30kgs is not uncommon.

A Police Clearance will be required by the successful applicant. A Pre-Employment medical assessment would also need to be completed. Only those living in Perth will be considered for the role and you must have full working rights to work in Australia to apply for this role.
