Fulltime / Warehouse

Glide, a leading manufacturer of powered and manual wheelchairs, is seeking a reliable team member to join our Supply & Distribution team and support purchasing operations. This hands-on role includes ordering materials, obtaining quotes, following up purchase orders, tracking deliveries, updating inventory, coordinating freight, and providing order updates to internal teams. You will also assist with stock takes and help source alternative suppliers when required. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive Australian Manufacturing Business.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.30am-3.30pm.  Award rates apply. Onsite parking is available.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with ordering parts, materials, and equipment.

  • Request and evaluate supplier quotes.

  • Follow up orders and delivery schedules with suppliers.

  • Help manage stock levels and update inventory records.

  • Assist with stock takes and inventory checks.

  • Coordinate freight and track deliveries.

  • Provide updates on order and delivery status to internal teams.

  • Help source products and alternative supply options when required.

  • Follow company procedures and contribute to process improvements.

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or purchasing is preferred.

  • Experience using inventory or ERP systems will be an advantage.

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Tickets and licenses required

  • National Police Clearance (within last 6 months at own cost)

  • Must have full Australian working rights
