Machine Operator / Production Welder – Mining Components
Location: Perth Northern And South Suburbs
Employment Type: Full Time / Casual with View to Permanency
Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly Rate + Penalties
Our client is a leading manufacturer of mining ground support products and is currently seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators / Production Welders to join their growing team.
Working within a busy production environment, you will be involved in the manufacture of mining components including split sets, friction bolts and various steel products supplied to mine sites throughout Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating automated and semi-automated welding machines
Manufacturing split sets and mining ground support products
Loading and unloading steel materials
Conducting quality checks on finished products
Following production schedules and workplace safety procedures
General workshop housekeeping duties
To Be Successful You Will Have:
Previous welding, fabrication, or machine operating experience
Experience within a manufacturing or steel processing environment
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Forklift ticket (highly regarded but not essential)
Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
