About the Role
CES is seeking an experienced Asset & Inventory Lead to take ownership of the company's assets, fleet, workshop and inventory systems. This role is responsible for ensuring tools, plant, vehicles and equipment are compliant, maintained and readily available to support both service operations and project delivery activities.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, inventory control, asset utilisation and mobilisation readiness across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys building systems, driving continuous improvement and supporting high-performing operational teams.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage company assets, fleet, tools and workshop equipment.
Coordinate servicing, maintenance and compliance requirements.
Oversee inventory control, stock management and procurement activities.
Support mobilisation and operational readiness across service and project teams.
Maintain asset registers, inspections, testing and tagging requirements.
Provide asset availability and utilisation reporting.
Drive continuous improvement across workshop and inventory processes.
About You:
Minimum 5 years' experience in asset, inventory, fleet or operational support roles.
Experience within mining, construction, industrial or engineering environments.
Strong understanding of asset management, stock control and maintenance scheduling.
Current Australian Driver's Licence C Class
Forklift Licence (desirable).
Truck Licence (desirable).
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
