As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Product & Procurement Officer to join our team and support the successful delivery of mining projects.

About the Role

·         Responsible for sourcing, coordinating, and procuring fabricated products, mechanical components, and project materials for mining and industrial projects.

·         Work closely with suppliers, fabricators, engineers, and project teams to ensure efficient delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

·         Source and procure fabricated items, mechanical products, and project materials

·         Obtain supplier quotations and negotiate pricing and lead times

·         Assist management with generation of proposal and client costings

·         Prepare and manage purchase orders and procurement documentation

·         Coordinate deliveries and supplier performance to meet project schedules

·         Liaise with internal engineering and project teams

·         Maintain strong supplier and client relationships

·         Assist with technical product coordination and material selection

·         Monitor procurement schedules and inventory requirements

·         Oversee manufacturing and delivery logistics

·         Ensure procurement activities align with project and company standards

Skills & Experience

·         Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within mining, engineering or fabrication industries

·         Trade background highly advantageous

·         Strong understanding of fabricated products and industrial supply processes

·         Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications preferred

·         Strong organisational and communication skills

·         High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems
